As I’ve been growing up, I’ve noticed that the use of cursive has been dwindling. The specific topic of my research is teaching cursive in school. I intend to find out whether or not we should stop teaching cursive writing in schools, in favor of teaching other subjects. My intended audience is teachers and high school students. My intention is to inform the reader why cursive should not be taught in school. Because of the rise in use of technology, the complications that come with cursive writing, and the very little practical use, cursive should not be taught in schools.
